Blue Crush

Blue is one of those colors that I love (navy especially!), but often have a hard time styling. I hate when blues clash-it's not often that you'll find me in a blue shirt and jeans-and I find that they look better when paired with other colors, like orange, white, red, and pink.

I have been on a blue kick lately though, and even got a blue mani/pedi last weekend. Very unlike me, but I'm kind of diggin' it! How do you wear blue?

Wardrobe Wednesday: Olympic Fever

I've been so addicted to the London 2012 Olympic Games, and love staying up too late seeing the outcome of all of the events. Swimming has been my favorite sport to watch, mainly for the hot men's team-cough, Ryan Lochte, cough- but women's gymnastics, track & field, and women's beach volleyball have all been on my radar for the past week. Since I've been feeling so patriotic, I decided to look the part on Monday at a photo shoot for work. Three cheers for the red, white, and blue!

Summer Girl

I had a bit of a shock over the weekend, when I realized how little of summer we have left. I hate to be a Debby Downer, but it's coming to an end, quicker than any of us would like. This weekend was originally going to be somewhat relaxing, after some non-stop vacationing that I've done, but it looks like it will be everything but that. Nick and I will be participating in a couples olympics tourney tonight at a friends...we're team Greece! Tomorrow looks like it's shaping up to be an apartment hunting day, so I'll be spending the afternoon in Hoboken looking at a bunch of places. Fingers crossed that my roommate and I find something! Sunday, I'm hoping, is going to be my detox day...meaning I'm heading to the beach, turning off my phone, and getting sucked into a good book. What are your weekend plans?
