Happy Cinco de Drinko Mayo! Mexican food is one of my faves, hence Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite holidays...even though I always forget about it until the week before! I used to be able to justify celebrating in college...any excuse to party was a good excuse right?...but now that I am in the "real world" (whatever that means), I'm not so sure that its still acceptable. In any case, bring on the margaritas, chips and salsa, and fajitas.

After the amazing spring weekend that we had, I've been feeling kind of whimsical and can't wait to shed my jeans and cardis for some dainty skirts and dresses. One of my favorite things about spring are the light pinks, nudes and whites that start to emerge, and this spring season is chock full of them. I've never been one to wear pink or nude because of my fair skin tone and dark brown hair, but I've fallen in love and have found that many of my recent purchases have been in the neutral color pallet. There's just something to be said about a sweet, girlie looking dress...perfect for a picnic in the park or a day in the office.

April Showers

Unfortunately after a weekend full of beautiful sunshine and fresh air, we are back to the April weather that we are used to...rain. On days like today, I prefer to snuggle up on my couch (with puppy Dolce by myside) and watch crappy daytime television and movies, while eating anything and everything in my house.
