Sometimes, your best accessory is a pop of color on your digits. With summer practically over, I couldn't resist one last neon pink mani, so I decided to go with Essie's Flirty Fuchsia. There's nothing better than a little tan, a little pink, and the last little bit of summer! Hope you all enjoyed your long weekends. Now onto Fashion Week! Let the games begin!

Friday Happiness

You know its going to be a long week when Monday feels like Friday...and unfortunately that's how this week was for me. Every day seemed to be crazy, all filled with lots of work, lots of headaches, and lots of "is it Friday yet?". I thought today would never come. But its here, so time to celebrate! Looking forward to hopefully a beach day, and some major apartment shopping before I head out to LA for work. What's on your weekend agenda?

Chic Tweak

Scarves are one of my favorite things to add to an outfit to take it from from dull to dreamy. So when I was asked to take part in ChicTweak's Influencer Favorites page, I was excited to put together an outfit to demonstrate just that.

I chose this Chan Luu scarf for a few reasons:

1. The colors are perfect for any time of year...pair it with a camo military jacket in the fall, a leather jacket in the winter, a denim dress in the spring, and a white tee and boyfriend jeans (like I did today!) in the summer.

2. I love everything Chann Luu and couldn't resist adding more to my collection.

3. I love the print!

Beach Days

With only a few weekends left of the summer, I've been trying to take advantage of the beach as much as possible. On Saturday night my boyfriend and I went to an amazing restaurant for dinner (if you are ever in the Asbury Park area, be sure to check out Fish) before heading over to the beach for a sunset walk and some exploring on the boardwalk. Asbury Park had seen some better days, but in the past few years, the town has totally gotten a facelift and is becoming somewhat of a hot spot again.

TGIF! It's been a long and stressful week, and I'm so happy that today marks the beginning of the weekend! I have some exciting news to share that I've been containing all week....I FOUND AN APARTMENT! I'll be moving to Hoboken in October and I couldn't be more excited. It took awhile for us to find the perfect place, but we did, and our space is huge. I can't wait to share pictures of it with you, once we get settled in. Let the furnishing begin!

French Obessed

It's been a while since I've posted about my current nail obsession, and to finish out the summer, I've been toying with the idea of a colored french manicure. I've exhausted all of the neon and coral colors that are my go-to summer staples and quite honestly, I'm ready for a change!

I can't remember the last time I got a french, and I think the only way I can make it work now, would be to break the rules and go crazy with color or sparkle. I love the idea of a monochromatic french: pink on pink, black on black, or even metallic on metallic. I also can't help but love the black tip french. There's some really cool and edgy, but still sophisticated about it.

Wardrobe Wednesday

I was feeling slightly sparkly on Monday morning, so when I opened my closet to get dressed for work, I immediately reached for this little J.Crew number. I love how it can be paired with black cropped pants and sandals, perfect for a day at work, but also with a pair of ripped up jeans, a blazer, and sexy heels for a dinner date with my boyfriend. Versatility has always been key for me, and this top, although it may not seem that way, can be worn a million different ways.
